Since 1961, the annual installation and decoration of the soaring evergreens in the Hall of Architecture has been the signature tradition of the Women’s Committee of Carnegie Museum of Art. This year’s Carnegie Trees, themed Iconic Pittsburgh, highlight the unique treasures that make the Steel City remarkable!
Since 1957, Carnegie Museum of Art has marked the holiday season with the Neapolitan presepio. A centuries-old tradition in Naples and southern Italy, the presepio is an elaborate nativity scene recreated with miniature figures arranged in a detailed panorama of 18th-century life in Naples.

Meet on the dance floor as DJ Arie Cole brings the beats and we make the heat. Winter Heat returns for its third year, keeping Carnegie Museum of Art open late into the night and calling all to fill the Hall of Sculpture with collective shine.

Inspired by the Year of the Snake, the 28th Greater Pittsburgh Lunar New Year Celebration heralds the new year with a resplendent celebration of change and rebirth. This multicultural festival harmonizes ancient Lunar New Year traditions with global customs.

This Valentine’s Day, celebrate the season of love in all of its forms amidst art and community!
