Artist Threads
Each of us is a teacher and learner. As we live our lives, each of us is creating a web of knowledge. Artist Threads are tools for educators that are designed for young people ranging in grades 6–12 and can be activated in a group or independently, at home or in school!
Each Artist Thread includes an introduction to an artist and a map of terms, concepts, and connections related to and in context with the artist. We developed these connections by looking at and learning from the artist’s work and researching their lives and practices. Each connection inspires another connection; the empty spaces in the map are for you to add your connections. The map is infinite—you can expand it as much as you want.
