Come into the Ailsa Mellon Bruce Decorative Arts and Design galleries for an in-person morning story time with Alyssa Velazquez reading Stockingopolis by Tatyana Feeney, followed by a making activity for children 12 and under.
Stockingopolis is a small gray town by the gray, gray sea. There are gray sheep with gray wool that gets knitted into gray stockings.
But Ben and Lucy love color—so they set out to paint just one sheep with their brightly colored paints. Their colorful creation is a reminder to all of us that even small actions can have a significant impact.
