Story Saturday

11 a.m.–Noon | Bruce Galleries
Celebrate the opening of the exhibition after school in the Heinz Architectural Center with this school-themed story time. Assistant curator Alyssa Velazquez will read School’s First Day of School by Adam Rex and illustrated by Christian Robinson. Following the reading stick around for a making activity for children 12 and under.

Talking With Kids About Art

12:30 p.m.–1 p.m. | Museum Galleries
We welcome you and your kids in the galleries! During this tour, museum educators facilitate a playful and thoughtful relationship with art for children ages 3–10 and their families with hands on activities and interactive conversations.

Carnegie Lab

Noon–3p.m. | Art Studio
Join art educators in the museum’s Art Studio for making and sensory activities inspired by the exhibition after school. All ages are invited to participate.

Teen Museum Study Capstone presentations, artwork and image compilations.
