Explore the many ways you can give to the museum! Whether you have time to volunteer, a gift you’d like to plan, a donation you’d like to make in someone’s honor, or artwork to gift to our collection, there are so many opportunities to offer your support and make an impact.
Planned Giving
Planned giving offers a way to make an impact on future generations. Consider naming Carnegie Museum of Art as a beneficiary in your will or retirement account or making a gift of stock or another unique asset. Your donation supports the importance of creativity within our society and makes possible future programs, exhibitions, and research.
In appreciation of your planned gift, you will be welcomed into the Cornice Society. Cornice Society members are invited to special events and, unless anonymity is preferred, listed in select museum publications.
Additionally, you can enjoy a lasting legacy at Carnegie Museum of Art through making a gift to one of our established endowments. For further information, email our advancement team.
Give Your Time
If you’re looking for ways to donate your time, we offer a number of rewarding opportunities to support the museum as a volunteer. Some examples include helping out with one-time special events, conducting ongoing research, or becoming one of our dedicated and knowledgeable docents. Our volunteer program works with your schedule and interests.
By becoming a volunteer, you get amazing perks, including:
- Free admission to the four Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh
- Discounts for parking, classes, food services, and merchandise at our store
- Regularly scheduled enrichment programs that include lectures and conversations with the museum’s curatorial and research staff
- Invitations to receptions and special events
- Work experience and letters of recommendation
