Meet Ginger Brooks Takahashi

For Artist Wednesday, we’re sharing another installment of our video series featuring the artists in the Counterpressures exhibition! Counterpressures explores the climate crisis from the unique perspective of 10 Pittsburgh-area artists. As the world has come to grapple with other crises, we are highlighting how these artists have adapted their practice to working from home.

In this video, artist Ginger Brooks Takahashi takes us outdoors to introduce her new, exciting public art project for the Environment, Health, and Public Art Initiative for Pittsburgh’s Office of Public Art! Her new work is done in collaboration with the Nine Mile Run Watershed Association and the Center for Civic Arts in Wilkinsburg.
