Step-By-Step Meditation
- Take a few moments to look at the painting. Notice the way the sunlight changes the color of the trees in the forest. Look at the gentle movement of the brook depicted in the painting as the water flows over the rocks.
- Close your eyes and begin to visualize yourself in this forest. Connect with your different senses.
- Visualize the different colors of the forest.
- Imagine the sounds you might hear: the gentle flow of the brook, birds chirping in the trees, or the soothing movement of the trees in the breeze.
- Feel the gentle breeze against your body.
- Take a deep breath and imagine the smell of the fresh air, energizing your body.
- Allow the tranquility of the forest to wash over you.
