Youth Artist Studio Exhibition

All are welcome to admire the public exhibition of artwork by students of the Youth Artist Studio (YAS). The showcase will include a selection of artwork by each student. This event is free to attend, and no registration is required.

The high school artists who participated in the program spent 16 weeks with museum educators and experts, developing their personal style and artistic identity through hands-on art-making, discussions, and workshops. The 58th Carnegie International and the museum’s permanent collection, like Charles “Teenie: Harris’s photographs, influenced student work through formal elements like composition and themes like community and identity.
