Joar Nango (born 1979, Alta, Norway; lives in Tromsø, Norway) is a Sámi architect and artist whose practice moves across architecture, design, and visual arts. His projects explore Indigenous identity and the intersections between contemporary architecture and Sámi traditions, often through site-specific installations and handcrafted publications. Nango is the founder of the architectural collective FFB and the creator of the nomadic Indigenous architecture library Girjegumpi. He has participated in the 36th São Paulo Biennial (2025); 19th International Architecture Biennial, Venice (2023); Toronto Biennial of Art (2022); Chicago Architecture Biennial (2019); and documenta 14, Kassel, Germany (2017).
