Hyun Nahm (born 1990, Goyang, South Korea; lives in Goyang, South Korea) draws from the concept of “miniscapes” (縮景) and through his sculptural practice physically compresses contemporary landscapes. Hyun’s work is shaped by an emergent handling of diverse material properties that address issues such as postcapitalist urbanism and ruin, logistics and hyperconnectivity, the platform economy and the precariat. Hyun has had several solo exhibitions including at Whistle, Seoul (2025); ROH Projects, Jakarta (2024); Atelier Hermès, Seoul (2021); and Art Space Hyeong, Seoul (2020). Group exhibitions include Lehmann Maupin, Seoul (2024), Nam-Seoul Museum of Art and Art Sonje Center, Seoul (2023), Busan Biennale (2022), and Leeum Museum, Seoul (2022). In 2023–2024, Hyun participated in a residency at ROH Projects, Bandung.
