Families of the participating artists are invited to celebrate The Art Connection’s 94th Annual Exhibition. This reception is free to attend, and no registration is required.
Following the reception, join us for a Youth Event in the Hall of Sculpture from 3â5 p.m. featuring a DJ, refreshments, hands-on art-making experiences, and additional art showcased in the Art Studio and Art Theater.
About the Exhibition
The Carnegie Museum of Art is excited to celebrate the 94th season of The Art Connection (TAC) with our annual student exhibition. For nearly a century, the museum has continued the tradition of working with Pittsburghâs young artists to help them hone technical skills and develop their identity as artists.
Along with our collection, student work was heavily inspired by the 58th Carnegie International. Many reoccurring themes included the idea of home and being a part of a community which our students interpreted through creating sculptures, films, and self-portraits.
