Thaddeus Mosley, a pillar of Pittsburgh’s arts community and a participating artist of 20/20: The Studio Museum in Harlem and Carnegie Museum of Art, leads a drawing session keyed to his personal collection of jazz records. Translate the mass, form, and movement of his sculptures into lines on paper with Mosley’s playlist and a slideshow of his sculptures as inspiration.

Thaddeus Mosley has been coming to Carnegie Museum of Art since the 1950s to nurture his love of modernist sculpture. Over the decades, he has developed a long history with the museum, including two solo exhibitions in 1968 and 1997, and many speaking engagements. Most recently, Mosley discussed his 1975 work Georgia Gate with Carnegie Museum of Art audiences in conjunction with 20/20 and By Any Means.
