Tune in to afternoon story time with Alyssa Velazquez, the curator of Locally Sourced, as she reads Brick Who Found Herself in Architecture by Joshua David Stein. Meet a baby brick who is ready to grow into a big building of her ownâalthough she’s not quite sure what type of building she wants to be. Travel with the brick to see some of the architectural wonders of the world, learning that not only do great buildings begin with small bricks, but great journeys do, too.
The story will be followed by an art-making activity for children ages 12 and under. Zoom links will be sent via email upon registration, followed by a list of materials needed for the activity.
