Every Thursdayā€“Sunday, hearĀ local musicians perform a jazz improvisation based onĀ From Smoke and Tangled Waters We Carried Fire Home, the Fine Prizeā€“winning work by indigenous artist collective Postcommodity in the Carnegie International.

The artwork, designed in the tradition of Navajo sand-painting, can be read as a graphic score. Comprised of steel, glass, and coal, the work represents the history of labor in the Pittsburgh region.
