KinselLand presents Conflict and Competition, a day of family-friendly sport, collaboration, and performance.

Join us for groovy tunes, a rock paper scissor competition, soft games, joyfully competitive wrestling performances from Ryse Wrestling, collaborative Just Sing! Workshop with Anqwenique Kinsel, and collaborative crafts facilitated by museum educators.

Schedule of Events

  • 11 a.m.—KinselLand Radio, collaborative and competitive games and crafts through the day
  • 11:30 a.m.—Lift Every Voice and Sing collective singing with Anqwenique Kinsel
  • Noon—Ryse Wrestling takes the ring
  • 1 p.m.—Rock, Paper, Scissors Competition
  • 1:30 p.m.—Just Sing! Workshop with Anqwenique Kinsel
  • 2 p.m.—Ryse Wrestling takes the ring
  • 3:15 p.m.—Ryse Wrestling takes the ring for the final match

About KinselLand

Anqwenique Kinsel is an accomplished artist, educator, mother, wife, and trailblazer. Specializing in opera, classical music, jazz, and soul, her versatile and eclectic style informs her work as a performer, director, producer, educator and advocate for arts and music education.

D.S. Kinsel is a Black creative entrepreneur and arts administrator based in Pittsburgh, PA. He expresses his creativity through the mediums of painting, window display, installation, curating, action-painting, non-traditional performance and social media.
