This keynote concludes a day of workshops with Pittsburgh Public School educators and artists Gabo Camnitzer and Ana Serrano.
About the Speaker
Leigh Patel is a writer, educator, and cultural worker whose focuses on the ways that formal education has consistently acted as one site of coloniality and oppression, and that education and studying is one of the strongest tools for liberation. Political education and critical analysis are essential in the work Patel does with others: imagining a new world.
