Co-presented by Hello Neighbor
Inspired by the work of the Silät weavers collective in the 59th Carnegie International, partner Hello Neighbor hosts a craft bazaar celebrating the creativity, entrepreneurship, and cultural traditions of Pittsburgh’s refugee and immigrant communities.
Meet local artisans, discover handmade goods, artwork, and crafts, and connect with the stories, skills, and creative practices that contribute to the richness of our region. More than a marketplace, the bazaar offers opportunities to gather, exchange ideas, and celebrate the many ways neighbors build community and share culture.
Continue your visit in the Art Theater, where photographs created by youth in Hello Neighbor’s Study Buddy Program offer intimate perspectives on life in Pittsburgh. Presented alongside archival materials documenting refugee experiences in the city across nearly ninety years, the installation invites reflection on belonging, memory, and the evolving stories that shape Pittsburgh’s communities.
