Founded in 1981, Women of Visions is rooted in collective creativity that addresses the lack of opportunity for Black women artists. In celebration of Women of Visions’ 40th anniversary, Carnegie Museum of Art is co-presenting the exhibition Future Vision: Women of Visions. On opening day, join us and hear from the artists about how they have continued to create expansive opportunities both for members and audiences while imagining and sharing visions of liberatory futures through art-making and the collective power of mutual support.
