Join Pittsburgh-based fashion designer Tereneh Mosley and architect Philip Beesley for an extraordinary afternoon devoted to expanding the creative mind through drawing. Draw directly on fabrics, design a collaborative garment, and work from otherworldly images culled from Carnegie Museum of Natural Historyâs scanning electron microscope.
Think differently about materials, textures, and giving form to the unseen as Mosley and Beesley lead experimental drawing exercises that investigate ideas and materials inspirational to their unique practices.
Tereneh Mosley is founder of IdiaâDega: Elegant Ethical Apparel and Global Eco-Design Collaboration. Philip Beesley is an architect, artist, and designer, who has collaborated extensively with Iris van Herpen.
