Join Carnegie Museum of Art curators for a four-part series that explores the ideas, questions, and artworks shaping the future of the field. Through close looking and conversation, each session offers a window into the work of contemporary curatorsāwhat excites them, what challenges them, and how they are thinking about the museumās collection in new ways.
Focusing on four areas of Carnegie Museum of Artās collection, each curator will share key works, emerging perspectives, and the questions that are guiding their research and practice. Whether you are new to art history or a lifelong learner, this series invites you to explore art not as a fixed story, but as an evolving conversation.
Each session includes a 50-minute presentation followed by 25 minutes for questions and discussion.
