Connecting With Ourselves: Workshop

Licensed Massage Therapist Eli Shumaker will lead a workshop designed to teach participants how establishing intimacy with the self can expand to support collective care. Developed in relation to the photographs in the exhibition Elle Pérez, this event will reference similar themes of touch, vulnerability, and personal connection.

Elle Pérez is a New York-based artist whose new body of work, Devotions, is on view as part of Carnegie Museum of Art’s Forum series.

This program is organized in partnership with Body Euphoria, which specializes in providing body-inclusive care for Pittsburgh’s LGBTQIA community.
