HUNY XO
HUNY XO is a DJ, event curator, and cultural worker soundtracking and producing events via the Mostbeautifullest collective. Bred in New York, NY and currently based in Pittsburgh (named Person of the Year in Music 2021 by Pittsburgh City Paper), huny’s work in music and the visual arts is rooted in exalting Black women & QTBIPOC communities.
Las Flaquitas
Las Flaquitas are a DJ trio comprised of Jessica Gjoza, Tatiana Varchola, and Kaila Burke-Ozuna — born, raised, and based in New York City and best friends for over 10 years. Specializing in Open Format Djing, Las Flaquitas are sought out for their extensive music selection and the intoxicating energy they bring to any room.
Laurie Trok Studios
Laurie Trok is a multidisciplinary artist based in Pittsburgh whose work explores the experience of the ephemeral and the ways time becomes visible through entropy. Laurie often works with food sculpture, cake, and performance, as well as creating menus that investigate people’s relationship to time. By imagining and facilitating new rituals, Laurie engages audiences as collaborators in generating alternative systems.
Laurie currently serves as the culinary coordinator and instructor at Sweetwater Center for the Arts and is in the second term of an alternative MA program through the Gramounce, which investigates the intersections of art and food.
Lo Bar Cocktail Services
Lo Bar Cocktail Services is a women-owned private bar service specializing in craft cocktails, private events, and professional hospitality. Its seasonal specialty cocktail menus feature fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and all mixers and garnishes are prepared in-house in small batches. Lo Bar’s mission is to elevate any event with our signature cocktail program, refined aesthetic, and the highest level of service from its bar staff.
Gloria Murphy
Gloria Murphy began her pastry career in Miami, working in the pastry department at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and later as part of the opening teams for Le Jardinier and L’Atelier de Robuchon.
She spent two seasons as a pastry chef for a small cruise line and, in 2022, relocated to Puerto Rico to support a new business specializing in artisan chocolates and bonbons. As the pastry chef for Culinaire at Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History, Gloria enjoys creating new pastries and concepts tailored to the museum’s needs, as well as teaching her team new skills and techniques to elevate the guest experience.
Kate Romane Productions
Based in Pittsburgh, chef and business owner Kate Romane has been a cornerstone of the city’s food scene since 1997. She has cultivated strong relationships with local farmers, artisan producers, young entrepreneurs, and food enthusiasts, always prioritizing community connections, workplace safety, exceptional food experiences, and local sustainability.
Kate’s culinary journey began in 2009 with her first restaurant, e2, which quickly garnered local acclaim. In 2016 she launched Black Radish Kitchen, a boutique catering business. Beyond catering, Black Radish Kitchen offers small business coaching, kitchen and menu design, and event-planning services. The space also serves as an incubator for emerging food-based businesses, such as James Beard Award finalist Fet-Fisk and many other Pittsburgh ventures.
