Our visual identity is guided by a core set of design principles that together, create a graphic language unique to Carnegie Museum of Art.
Our Fonts are Custom
We created a custom font to distinguish ourselves from others and unify us as a museum.
Our Imagery is Adaptive
We are thoughtful with how we use images, and we also create our own.
Weāre Colorful
Our color palette is expansive and fluid. This multiplicity of colors allows us to remain ever-changing and never static, predictable, or color-coded.
Weāre Friendly, Clear, and Accessible
Our visual identity brings all the things we create at Carnegie Museum of Artāincluding art, ideas, programs, events, design, and so much moreāto the surface, making them more visible and within reach for our visitors. This website is ADA-compliant minimum Level AA.
