School Group Visit Request

We look forward to hosting you and your students! To book a school group visit, please:

1. Request your visit at least four weeks prior to your desired visit date. Please provide the following information: select date preferences and alternatives, arrival and departure times, group size and grade level, and lunchroom requests. We aim to accommodate your requested date and time within our staff and spatial capacities of the exhibition. Please provide alternate dates and times in case your first option isn’t available.
2. When your date is confirmed, a member of our education team will reach out to finalize the content of your tour.
3. One week prior to your visit, we kindly ask you to send final attendance numbers and payment.

Admission for student tours is free for the required chaperone (1) for every 10 students. All materials are included. Program fees include day-long admission to both Carnegie Museum of Art and Carnegie Museum of Natural History.

Schools or universities may qualify for funding to cover both admissions and transportation costs. Apply for a school group scholarship when reserving your group visit.
