About girlFx

girlFx (“girlfriend”) is a collective of women and non-binary individuals who stand for ownership and representation in the nightlife community. We host a resident party at Hot Mass every 5th Saturday, Ace Hotel’s monthly “In The Weeds”, and “Tea Time” a sober after hours during the cold months at Dobra Tea. We welcome people of all identities.

Feline Entertainment is an entertainment company established in 2017. Our mission is to bring together forward thinking women identified in the Pittsburgh area to create evolved entertainment experiences. Our focus is not about just creating a unique party experience, but also what impact we can have in our community and human rights, by creating platforms for women in different communities with a goal of donations to causes that matter to us.

About the Artists

TYGAPAW (Dion McKenzie) is a multi-disciplined producer and DJ based in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Her Jamaican ancestry and upbringing fused with her 13 years living in New York City have influenced a music style she dubs “Sultry Club.” She incorporates sexy 90’s R&B sounds with futuristic vibes and intricate melodies that are as much for the club as they are for a chill kiki at your home girls crib. She is the curator behind “Fake Accent,” a monthly queer club night that has featured DJ’s such as Rizzla, False Witness, JX Canon, HD, Mursi Layne and more, and also the co-curator behind the queer Caribbean party series and creative platform, “SHOTTAS NYC.”

Elaine Healy Atelier is interested in the intersection of personal style and fine art. Inspirations include texture and modification of raw materials, the human body and organic forms, technology and mapping, repetition and sound. Through her Spring/Summer 2019 collection, she continues to push boundaries through experimentation with technical textiles and surface manipulations.

KING RELD is a brand of wearable design, performance, and installation art influenced by biomimicry and technological and high-end materials. She explores how fashion affects our self-image through beauty gluttony, cravings of luxury, and the over-exaggeration of our features.
