Dear friends and colleagues,
Happy New Year!
Join us for a congress for KEYWORD: INTERNATIONAL. It will take place on January 18, 2018 from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at Kelly Strayhorn Theater’s Alloy Studios to support our diverse missions and activities.
The 2018 Carnegie International is a catalyst for a conversation about what “international” means for us. We are Pittsburgh’s arts organizations large and small, curators and programmers, arts activators who work together to make the city’s contemporary art scene rich, diverse, and alive. This convening will be an opportunity for us to share our upcoming programming ideas and plans for fall 2018. We want to find out how we complement and buttress one another. To spark and catalyze the much-needed public conversations around what we collectively contribute as arts organizers, we present: KEYWORD: INTERNATIONAL.
Agenda:
5:00–6:00 p.m. – Welcome and Roll Out KEYWORD: INTERNATIONAL
6:00–6:30 p.m. – Mapping Pittsburgh
6:30–7:00 p.m. – Brainstorming and Wrap up
KEYWORD: INTERNATIONAL is a Pittsburgh survey initiated by Kelly Strayhorn Theater and Carnegie Museum of Art
