Carnegie Museum of Art partners with contemporary art series By Any Means for three thought-provoking in-gallery conversations.
Featured participants on December 3:
Alison Brand Oehler, director, Concept Art Gallery
Jessica Lanay, curator, poet, and researcher
Charlotte Ka, visual artist and co-founder, MOKA Art Gallery
By Any Means (BAM) engages with artists, curators, writers, and cultural consumers to broaden the scope and understanding of contemporary art influenced by Black culture. Each conversation invites a mix of artists, writers, activists, museum staff, and you to share reflections on the exhibition. Additional support for BAM is provided by Annette Berger and Family and the August Wilson Legacy Fund.
