Sarah Shotland is the author of the novel Junkette (2014) and Abolition is Everything (2021). Her short fiction and nonfiction have been published in Ploughshares, The Iowa Review, North American Review, and Creative Nonfiction. This year, she is the recipient of a Special Collections Research fellowship at Smith College where she is researching pre-Roe at-home and underground abortion networks. Sarah is the Program Director of Madwomen in the Attic at Carlow University, where she is Associate Professor of English and Chair of the Art, Communication, and English Department.
