Impressionism in a New Light: From Monet to Stieglitz presents more than 150 great works by Cassatt, Degas, Käsebier, Monet, Stieglitz, and others to recapture the radical nature of the Impressionist movement and explore its relationship to Pictorialist photography.

Impressionism in a New Light: From Monet to Stieglitz investigates how the term “Impressionism” can be thought about in relation to a range of artwork in different media, questions assumptions about Impressionism as a movement, and looks closely on a case-by-case basis at how and why each artist included in the show is relevant to Impressionism.
